I wanted to share some testimonies from the Ministry Site.
Charles our men's leader shared a wonderful testimony tonight with us. Charles found his Dad whom he has never meet. Within the last week he has not only got to talk with his Dad, he has got to talk to his grandmother and his brothers who he did not even know he had. Its been like a big family reunion over the phone and texting, they are all very excited to have found one another. His Dad has been searching and praying for God to lead him to Charles for years. Charles is in his early 50's, and is so excited to know his Dad loves him and has not forgotten about him after all these years. They are planning a visit for in the future, his family lives out of state.
The 2nd testimony some from Jennifer the single Mom with the three kids currently living at The Victory House. She signed up for parenting classes and begins her first class tomorrow. She has been in touch with all the people that can help her get child care, and housing. We are so proud of her, so many say they want help but do nothing to get help. Jennifer has really stepped up and taken responsibly. You can see her getting excited and I know she feels allot better about her future and the well being for her children. When she first came to The Victory House her plans was to go back to Florida but after a few days changed her mind. Today she admitted it was an abusive relationship and she is believing in Christ Jesus for her future.
The 3rd testimony comes from a women that just got there today. Tracey came to the house to stay for only one night, with hopes to get a ticket to Memphis tomorrow. But after spending the day at The Victory House and meeting the other women there, she believes God lead her there and that she is not suppose to go back to Memphis. She admitted if she went back to her husband in Memphis she would be back on drugs within a short time, and she does not want that for her life. She wants to get her life together and regain custody of her children and offer them a better life. She also believes she has a calling on her life to share her testimony to others.
It is such a blessing to see how God works, and to be able to share praise reports.
Please keep the Ministry and all the residents in your prayers.
We are still in need of getting the plumbing fixed, Bath towels, comforters and sheet for the twin beds.

"Let us hold unswervingly to hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.Let us not give up meeting together,as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as we see the day approaching." Heb. 10:23-25

A CHRISTMAS TO REMEMBER PDF Print E-mail

This year we got to see Christ Jesus at work. The Christmas miracle started by us receiving a call from a family that took a couple into their home that did not have a place to stay. This family did not have much. They live in a small trailer and were only making ends meet, but they was willing to share what little they had. One day they went to the store and when they returned the couple they had taken in and all their children's Christmas presents were gone. I went to visit the family and I told the family that God would bless them for their act of kindness. I talked to them about the widow who gave out of poverty in Luke 21, and not to lose hope, and to trust in God.

When I got home I sent out an email asking for help for this family. I received a call from a person that said they wanted to take this family shopping. Then I received a call back saying they was not going to be able to take the family shopping but they was going to bring a check for the family. Bill called when he received the check and the check was for $1000.00. Bill and I cried, laughed and were over joyed, because we knew it was God. In our minds we had hoped for a $100. or $200. dollars for this family, but God had something else in mind. When this family found out, they was in shock, they sit there quite for a moment and then begin to share their testimonies with us. After hearing their testimonies there was not doubt for any of us that the hand of God was at work and had shown himself to them in a very real way.

It reminded me of Gideon having doubt and questioning God and how God made his presents known. I know through this family God was making his presents known to Bill and I. We both had been growing a little weary through the Holiday Season, after having to evict several residents from the ministry site. Our hearts are always saddened when this happens, even though we know not everyone is ready to make changes to their lives. Also we know that sometimes God has only called us to plant the seed and we are not the ones he has called to water that seed. But still we questioned ourselves if we worthly of doing what God has called us to do, and if we was making a differences. In Ministry you will always have people who are quick to tell you what you're not doing, or how you should be doing things. The bottom line is we are only human, we are not perfect, we are only trying to do what God has called us to do. Its not always easy, but he reminds us this Outreach Ministry is not our Ministry, it is Gods, we are only called to serve him.

We want to thank everyone that helped throughout the holiday seasons, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Through Project Christmas Blessing and all the donated items that were given. For us missionary work starts in our own back yard and only though all of you that some along beside us is it possible to meet the needs of our community.

We both feel so blessed to be a witness to these types of miracles throughout the year, but this Christmas we really got a blessing that we will not soon forget.

Right Road Ministries would like to invite you to be a part of the first annual "Project Christmas Blessing".

This project will allow us, "the body of Christ", to come together and "be a blessing" to the people who are overcoming obstacles in their lives. Currently, Right Road Ministries provides housing for women at the Victory House and Men at the Outreach Center. Many of these residents do not have family to share gifts with for the Christmas Holiday and we are hoping you will help us by letting them know people do care about them and they are not alone or forgotten this Christmas season.

Some of these individuals, listed below, have children that they are unable to buy presents for. That is where we come in......please pray about adopting a family or an individual to provide them with the blessing of Christmas.

After picking your adoptee, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , so we can let everyone know they have been adopted. If you would like more information about your adoptee please contact Tamara Couch at 615-474-5204 or Kim Purtee at 615-785-6901 and we will be happy to get additional information on your adoptee.

This is a opportunity that your family, Sunday School Class or small group can go in together to reach out this Christmas to share the love of Christ with others.
FANTASTIC RESPONSE
