The Vision Grows - Along With The Needs PDF Print E-mail

I am sorry I haven't been sending out updates as much lately, its been busier then ever. There are so many people in need right now, and the number of calls keep growing. The Victory House in full, the Outreach Center is over flowing with men, and the calls for housing keep coming in. The funds for helping with electric bills and rent has been pretty much depleted. But we contunie to pray and encourage those struggling not to lose hope in these hard times.

I ask you to stand with us in prayer as we seek to find a way to build more housing on the current ministry site. We are praying for the purchase of the land which the Outreach Ministry uses now. Our vision with the property would to build a men's house to offer a more suitable living environment for the men we already house. With so many calls coming in from abused women with children we would like to build a 6 unit apartment complex to house single mom's and families with children.

With the Holidays just around the corner we will hosting a Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the Outreach Center again this year. Everyone had such a wonderful time last year. We will be asking for donated turkeys, hams and other food items again this year.

We are only a small missionary team who's goal is to be able to help those that are in need. I know, that together with your help and support we can contunie to help stand in the gap for those in need.

Current needs - Washer and dryer
All baby items ( boy due in Oct.)
Twin sheets
Towels
Papertowel

Joyce Meyers Conference PDF Print E-mail
Ministry - Victory House

As many of you know Joyce Meyers was in town this past week. Some of the girls from the Victory House, some from Soldiers Of Salvation, and myself went and had a great time.
Its always nice to go to a conference and get fired up, and hear the word of God. We also picked up some videos, Cd's and books. She really had some great things to choose from. It was great to spend some time with the girls off the Ministry site and really just cut loose in praise and worship.
I feel so blessed to have had both of my daughter attend with us. It encouraged me as I  looked around and saw all of them truly worshiping the Lord Jesus, I  praise him for giving me an opportunity to witness Him in action. To witness the interaction and see the hunger from them to know more about what God wants for their lives. I never stop being amazed by the way he changes lives. (pictures coming)

Thanks to Kim Purtee's motivation, the girls have started going to Zumba's on Thursday nights to work out. I went with them on Saturday morning and I did not realize how out of shape I was. It is definitely something I need to put on my schedule every week.
