Easter this year at the Outreach Center had a different twist to it. The children hid the eggs and the adults found the eggs. Everyone had a lot of fun. Prizes ranged for laundry detergent, dryer sheets, $5.00 bills to cotton candy.
Bill spent sometime before the hunt to talk about the true meaning of Easter, and everyone joined together in a prayer. Bill also explained that easter egg hunting did not come from Christians and we wanted them to focus on Christ and when they think about the eggs think about how when we except Christ into our lives we are born again. Its was all about having fun and coming together as a family. It was great to see everyone running around hunting for eggs. Some said they had not ran that must since they was kids. I think we had a few that needed to take naps afterward.
