ATTAINING A DREAM WOMENS CONFERENCE
We are having a womens conference Saturday August 7th.
The conference is called Attaining a Dream, the scripture we are using as a jump off point is Proverbs 31.
We want people to know everyone has a purpose and its time to get motivated to step outside our comfort zones and start walking out our purpose.
We will have snacks provided by Kim Purtee and we will also have some great door prizes you will not want to miss. There is no cost for this conference, and we invite everyone to come out and join other women for a day of encourgagement and fun. It is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
Registration will begin at 11:30pm, and the conference will start at 12:00pm and end at 3:00pm.
The conference will be Hosted by; South Gate Baptist Church
3654 Murfreesboro Road
Antioch, TN 37013
615-641-6527
Child care will be provided, please let us know if you will need child care so we will be able to make arrangments to take care of the daycare needs.
Janice Bobbitt from South Gate Baptist Church will be our MC for the conference.
Speakers for the conference will beStephanie Clark from God’s Girls (LifePoint Church) , and Tamara Couch from Right Road Ministries.
We encourgae you to come and join us for the Attaining a Dream womens conference.
I have been praying about this conference for a long time, and I believe its time to come together at Christ follows and get serious about inpacting others lives. I am so happy to see different churches and womens groups coming together as one to make this conference happen. At the end of the day there is only one church, and one God, and we all become one in Christ. Get your Church, your womens groups, and your family and friends to come out to join us.

The Outreach Center got flooded last Saturday. After the water went down the men got a shop vac and got the standing water out of the Outreach Center and the Apartment, but they was unable to get all the water out of the carpet. The women's house stayed dry, but due to the water heater under the house they do not have hot water. The water current in front of the Outreach Center and house was very strong. Channel 17 News showed some footage of the Outreach Ministry Site yesterday on the News last night. Gracie, The Victory House's black lab was having a blast, she was enjoying have a lake in her front yard. Gracie kept everyone entertained and in good spirits during the storm.

This picture is from early Saturday, the statue in the back ground was up to its neck with water at the high point of the flooding. We had about two to three inches of standing water in the Outreach Center.

Please keep us in your prayers as we now clean up after what some are calling
a 500 year flood.

Bill went to a men's retreat this weekend and I had a couple of the women from the Victory House over for a girls night. We ate strawberries dipped in chocolate and some other things that really did not help my diet, but it was a lot of fun. It was great to have a little one on one time with a couple of the girls. I have been trying to do that more, because I know it is important for them. It also helps me to get to know them better. Bill got back late last night and when we got up this morning we found out that our cars along with several of our neighbors had been broke into during the night. Bills wallet had been stolen, and of course it was the first time Bill has ever left his wallet in the car. With the long drive back and carrying in his bags somehow he had forgotten about his wallet. After checking with the bank, their records showed by 6:33am this morning we had been hit hard with withdraws. Not just on our personal account by also the Ministry account. Somehow I did not feel shaken by this. Of course I knew the bank will reimburse us, so it will only be a short time before things are credited back. It is probably going to be a bigger pain for Bill to get his ID's replaced. I could not help to wonder what the thief's thought as they noticed one of the cards they were using said Pastor on it, and showed the Ministries name. I also wondered if that's why they did not hit the Ministries account as hard as ours. I know the store has them on camera and the police now have their finger prints. I ask Bill if the thieves asked him for help would he be willing to help them. Of course I already knew the answer and he laughed and said 'yes he would even be willing to offer them a home at the Outreach Center'. I think that would be a wonderful testimony to Sheppard the very ones that stole from you. I know it would be highly unlikely that we would have the opportunity to ministry to those people, but I do believe God's glory will be seen in the midst of this. I also love the fact my husband loves God more then anything the world has to offer. I know I am truly blessed. Your Sister in Christ Jesus, Tamara Couch |

I received a call this morning from a supporter of The Outreach Center. They had asked if I would send out this email in an effort to help restock, the food pantry and help meet the needs of the Outreach Center site residents. They are willing to put $300.00 toward a shopping trip at Sam's club to stock up on some much needed items. They are hoping others will come together and join them in this effort. They want to challenge others to match their donation or add what they can to this donation effort. The food pantry is very low right now, and we are always in need of toilet paper, paper towels, bottled water and other items. Praise God for those who have a servant's heart.
